VIETNAMESE NEW YEAR 2026

On the occasion of the upcoming Vietnamese New Year, we wish you well-being, immeasurable happiness, and peace.

The New Year is an opportunity to pray and transform. Phap Nguyen Temple will organize "The Medicine Buddha Sutra Chanting" to pray for well-being, peace, and joy. Your name will be written on the candle to offer to the Buddha in the ten directions to pray that the Buddha’s light dispel the ill beings and transform the bad karma. We will recite this Sutra every night from February 17 to February 27, 2026, at 6.30 p.m.

Monday, February 16, 2026

· 6 - 8 p.m.: Campfire “wisdom”

· 11.00 p.m.: Ceremony to welcome the New Year

Tuesday, February 17, 2026 (First New Year's Day)

· 10 a.m.: Pray for Wellbeing

· 6.30 p.m.: Chanting “Medicine Buddha Sutra”.

Sunday, March 1, 2026

· 10 a.m.: Celebrating the First Full Moon

· Offering Candles. Releasing Animals. Closing New Year Celebration.
